My last girlfriend had a cat that would hear us come in and soon make her presence felt to us, or by us.
Especially if it was raining. There'd be a crash as the cat-flap was flung open and a purring mass of soggy fur would bound onto the armchair, spring off the sofa arm and land accurately on my lap; spiral round and down without caring where its paws went, and settle down so my trousers would remove the water from the fur.

I love shelties! Always wanted one and you seem to have two! Both in matching coats! Do they not like rain? I have a Rottweiler, (not sure how I ended up with one of those when I like shelties!) and she positively hates the rain, refuses to go out in it!

@Adaydreambeliever They don't normally mind the rain but it was windy and chilly yesterday so I put the rain gear on them. They love baths and I have a child size pool I put in the back yard for them to play in during the warmer months. If you want a Sheltie go to Amazon and search plush shelties. They have some that look so lifelike. They are all under $50 american.
