I Write Dark Poetry

im falling
into a dark hole
waiting in this cage
minutes are torture
hours are insanity
welcome to the asylum of a clock
imprisoned with endless time
moving in slow motion
taunted by seconds that feel like fire
it runs like a carousel
around through its course
and the sound of a haunting metronome
is on a cruel repeat
every day without you
it starts over
