I Write Dark Poetry

girl meets boy
but he is a stranger
so she hides herself
afraid he might not like her
laugh at her
reject her
why does she feel like this
is it his words
she wants to know him
butterflys in her stomach
when she thinks of him
but that shouldnt be there
they only met by a unspoken glance
she knows he is not wondering who she is
this tortured girl
why would she mean anything to him
why would he look her way
she is a phantom
he doesnt need her
there are no butterflys for him
untouched by this passing
he will never see her
