I Hate Drama

Today I quit my job! I was tired of my rude manager thinking she can treat her employees any way she wants. She talks down at you and gossips behind everyone's back. She tries to turn people against each other. I have no time nor patience for stupid drama. Sad thing is she is way older than me so you would think she would know better. Some people though will never learn no matter how old they are. I'm proud because for the first time ever I stood up for myself!! I'm the type of person who bites their tongue and lets people walk all over them but today I had enough. There is only so much a person can take. I feel I did the right thing for myself. life is too short to be unhappy at a job. I understand every job has it's obstacles but you should feel comfortable where you work and your manager should be treating you with respect. Tomorrow I have an interview so fingers crossed that this will be a better fit for me. Even though it didn't work out I learned something from this experience and better things and days are coming my way.
