BHARAT(INDIA) banned TIKTOK and other 59 Chinese apps!

[u] The IT ministry has banned 59 Chinese-owned applications, including TikTok, ShareIt, UC Browser, Likee, WeChat, and Bigo Live. The Ministry stated they were “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of india, security of state and public. [/u]
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordinate Centre under the Ministry of Home Affairs sent an exhaustive recommendation for blocking these “malicious apps,” the IT ministry. “This Ministry has also received many representations raising concerns from citizens regarding security of data and risk to privacy relating to operation of certain apps.”

@SimplyTracie Slowly slowly my country is boycotting all products from china... Many agreements of Roads, metro trains, transportation are cancelled + electronics, apps are already banned! IPhone company is transferring its manufacturer soon in India! So, soon They will manufacture iPhone in India!
@Jeffrey53 20 Indian army men died and 40 to 45 Chinese soldiers died in this face off at Ladhak border which turned so serious.. This never happened before... China broken its promise with India and sends Chinese soldiers to ladhak border...
Unless they have an agreement with Google, the ban is likely not enforceable. The government banning TikTok probably just makes it more likely kids will download the app
@plungesponge bro, True Indians who really love India and wanna give real tribute to 20 soldiers who martyr on ladhak border will not use VPNs to use such apps! If some tiktok stars still wanna use VNP to access tiktok and post their new videos on tiktok... Well they will not have Indian audience to watch those videos anymore! Tiktok is app which had many other previous controversies and got banned before as well by SC of India!
Me and other Indians welcomed decision of Central government banning those Chinese apps and they done all that for safety of Indian citizens! We will see what new good decisions Central government gonna make in future for safety and development of India! Namaste 🙏
