Should voting be compulsory?

I believe it should be a crime not to vote...

No. Voting is a privilege.

Responsible voting is an obligation for those who exercise that privilege.

Compelling people to vote violates the most basic form of freedom of expression.

Choosing not to vote can say many things.
Elected officials know that long list.
