I Don't Trust Politicians

To climb to the top of the political heap requires scheming, plotting, trickery, and deception. All attributes that turn would be leaders into misleaders. The only way I can think of to prevent them from becoming dictators is to spread the leadership and not allow any one or two groups of people to have enough power to make us miserable. Unfortunately, Republicans and Democrats now seem to be acting more like governments within a government than political parties.

There was an Australian politician who really did put the people first and ended up sacrificing his career as a politician so that he could help fix an issue because no one else was going to, because they were all afraid of losing their job.
If anyone would like I will post the link to the video where they interviewed him. It was actually really funny.
However believe you statement is very funny, sad, true often, and telling of our world.
