I Believe Arguing With An Idiot Is Frustrating And Pointless

So, I got two nephews in Florida right now, almost near the coast, and as you know, with the hurricane coming, that's very dangerous. Well you know what their grandmother decided? She decided, to stay right there, with my two nephews, and refused to evacuate. We called her and tried telling her that they're gonna get hit by the storm, hard. But what does she say? "No no it's fine, it's probably just an exaggerated storm." Well, she's boarded up in her house, and probably just killed my boys.

Trying to leave the state at this point seems dangerous. Going to a shelter is pretty much the only option. Apparently people are running out of gas on the side of the road and abandoning cars. I wouldn't wanna be in that mess when the hurricane gets here.

Same with my dad, grandparents, and uncles. They're all staying in Florida and southern Georgia. Well, it was good knowing them.

@ThatOneMan well keep me updated. Im not that far south or I would check on them for you. We got the outskirts and were out of power for 3 days in not complaining though because there are people still waiting.

@ThatOneMan omg could you not get them out and tell her you would bring them back after it has passed.
The poor kids will be so scarred when it hits .

@coary987 We tried, she wouldn't let us bring them here, she wouldn't let the authorities or evacuation people bring them to safety or anything... She's a dumbass, she basically is letting them die, a 35 year old house won't hold against Irma

She is a idiot .
Let her stay but keep the kids safe .
I would have took them even without her consent no one would disagree with you you would have did the right thing.
Some adults are fools in fact a lot are.
You stay on the phone with him buddy don't matter how long it takes .

@imLobo True. My point is that there is little, if anything, that can be done at this point - for her or for anyone else. I wasn't being critical so much as realistic.
