How do you know if you're truly in love and not just infatuated with someone?

Infatuation is a sexual connection that plays games with the mind and the libido. It's energy at its wildest moment.

Love is a spiritual connection that's deeper, instinctual and less carnal than infatuation. It's energy at its fullest moment where sex may or may not play a part whatsoever.

you can pick your nose, scratch your self, fart, burp, and not bother looking good. and still feel content and comfortable with them there while you do it. and they can do the same.

When you feel feverish and dizzy and can't concentrate and you throw up a lot. Oh, wait, that's the flu. I get those two mixed up.

Can you see yourself with them for the rest of your life, no one else. If there were only 1 person to be on a stranded boat or island with you... would you tire of them?

For me... and I have only had this ONCE...
When the love is reciprocated the same way it is given.
