Tell me about that castle by the sea.

Let's call this a writing game. :) The title is the prompt. Describe what you see on your mind when you read it.

I see a medieval stone/cement castle, complete with turrets on a rocky hillside with sea foam on the rocks. That is the backdrop, though. The dress has an empire waist, is silk and pink. The woman is pensive. She is wondering at how she has changed and how it is that her past remains the same but everything is different. She is wondering if she will ever again relate to another human being who can understand her. She tries to connect, but things feel too shallow. She doesn’t care about much anymore. The trappings of life are just that. She still feels joy. She still feels sorrow. She just doesn’t care what day it is or who is doing what to whom. She wants to clarify just what matters but focus takes so much effort...

I see a man and a woman, building their dreams in the sand. The castle grows higher and higher toward the sky, and they even dig a moat to keep danger from their door, but life makes waves and the waves crash on the beach, knocking their castle into the sand and drag it out to sea.

Life really is a beach 🤭

Part II (sorry-I changed tenses. It’s my first fiction, so sue me)
Oh, the ennui! She chuckled to herself. She must have read that word first when she was about 12 and pronounced it “en you I” in her head. When she finally looked it up she swore she would use it one day, and pronounce it correctly this time.

So, yes, the ennui of the virus. She’d spent too much time in the castle. She was the wing rubbed in the cage of Millay. She was one of the lost souls swimming in the fishbowl. She was tired of her obscure references. Oh, the ennui!

Well, that cheered her up. Of course she would be able to go out again. Just not quite yet. I mean, she could, but it was a risk she was unwilling to take. Dammit, she isolated so much it would be ridiculous to expose herself now. And, as to being able to relate and be understood, she already knew the answer to that. It was hogwash!

Scenes from more than 7K year old epic Ramayana, when Lord Rama made a bridge over sea with help of army of monkeys to get to other side of ocean to rescue his wife Sita and win over Ravana(demon) who abducted Sita & used to live on the island(now Sri Lanka) in a castle

Its on top of the hill by the cliffs! Water crashing into the cliff and making water particles give it a rainbow over it
