So the Coronavirus finally had an affect on my life today.

I went the library to get books only to discover that it's closed until further notice !

I can understand your frustration and disappointment. I lucked out with that, since I still have a few unread books left from my last visit to the library.

I've long considered getting an eReader of some kind, as a 'just in case' back-up option.

@Piper Absolutely. An online book is better than no book by a long shot. 🙂
I hope that you are doing well Piper.
Piper · 61-69, F
@Wraithorn For sure. :)

Thank you Wraithorn, I hope you are too. Aside from being 'bookless', of course.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Piper I'm fine thanks. 🙂

You will certainly have a book at home that you always wanted to read. The one you never found the time to read. Read it now.

@helenS Unfortunately I don't have such a book. There is only one possibility. A book which I read over 20 yrs ago that I might have forgotten a bit.
It's probably not the right thing to be reading now though because it is H.P.Lovecraft's Dreams of Terror and Death. 🙂
helenS · 36-40, F
@Wraithorn H.P. Lovecraft is a fascinating author. Dime novels as an art form.
Bulma · 26-30, F
The website/app Scribd is offering a free 30-day trial right now! Free access to their entire online library.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Bulma Thank you. I'll look into that.
Nanori · F
Time to switch to digital books
helenS · 36-40, F
@Nanori All important classical literature is freely available on the net, for all to read and study.
dondon · M
@helenS But is the hentai though?🤔
helenS · 36-40, F
@dondon Oh I think there is enough hentai freely available for you to enjoy... 😁

Ingwe · F
library book pages could be loaded with germs
especially the most frequently read books
don't you think?
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Ingwe I know....but life without reading is no life. At least from my POV.
JohnnyBliss · 56-60, M
Thriftbooks online has tons of titles for just a few bucks a piece.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@JohnnyBliss Thanks but I don't have a credit card so I can't buy things online.

Get over it.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Go to the Dollar Tree and get a book. 🙄
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Zonuss There is no dollar tree in the South of darkest Africa bro. There is a second hand book shop but it's closed.
