How much do you believe in "no news is good news. " ?

We need something to exercise our minds and tickle the imagination, so some news is better than none at all.

The good news is the true Gospel. No news, rejection of the good news is bad news.

It was a saying in the military. Basically if we didn't hear from our superiors after we fucked something up, we were in the clear.
