No, honestly I don't think smoothies are as healthy as people seem to think they are and I have no other reason for a blender than that so I would pass at that price for sure.

Mine was close to that, although it's more of a food processor than a blender. I wouldn't have spent that if all it did was blend.

@tnjazz: I believe there was no shipping and handling charges. Perhaps it was made with a bette motor, as most cheap blenders do not last for long.
