Odd how no one was non-binary until about a year ago.

Odd how few gay people there were until homosexuality became legal.

@stratosranger I got the memo at work already about it. Good lord…

I experienced this bullshit years ago with a lesbian couple. I identified one of them as “she” and was read the riot act. I said, “Sweetie? You have long hair, breasts and I assume a vagina. Until you grow a set, shut up.” @Human1000

Not really, the term genderqueer was used even in the 90s. the term "non-binary" was created by the people who realized who they were around 2014

@wackidywack Seems like it really picked up steam a year ago. But 2014, there ya go.

Weird how before 1967 no one was gay in the UK 🤷‍♂️

@EuphoricTurtle I know trendy bullshit when I see it. This many college freshman can’t possibly be non-binary. It’s peer pressure, dude.

@Human1000 yes if course, repeating the same bullshit that was said about homosexuality decades ago in an attempt to deligitimise it sounds totally rational.

You tell them! 😉

@EuphoricTurtle I will, indeed.
In my youth, I could of never of phathomed this plot, unfolding before my eyes, of Ill conception and greed beyond yester years dictating the democracy as it does.

As someone who scores highly on gender ambiguity tests for both male and female stereotypical traits, it has never been an issue

At some point as a child I remember wanting to be a boy so I didn't have to worry about periods and could disappear into the wilderness

It wasn't possible, you moved on. I certainly would never have gone the surgical route, and left myself unable to reproduce or have full sexual sensation

There seems to me something very sexist about all this. This adherence to ridgid sexual stereotypes while purporting to subvert them. We even had m to f trans arguing they had 'female brains' until that was debunked

I was taught I could be whoever I wanted to be and that wasn't dependent on my genitalia. There was no reason to deny or philosophically reject my biological sex.
That’s great! My brother in law was born a biological woman. He identifies as a man. He looks, sounds like and to me is a man. He does take testosterone and is comfortable in his own skin. He doesn’t make his transgender identity a constant in-your-face confrontation or blames the world for any insecurities. He’s a great guy and I enjoy the time we get to spend with one another. @SW-User
