How will you tell your mother without hurting her feelings that you don't like her new dish?

I would politely suggest that maybe it needs something different ingredients wise. A softer response without hurting her feelings yet still being honest. I would want someone to tell me and not eat it if it was awful.

If I did that my mum would just refuse to cook ever again. Quick way to train us to never say her cooking was bad haha
