RIP Uncle...

He had a beautiful service with southern acapella singing and military funeral honors.

I can't pretend to understand why this happened to such an amazing person but cancer doesn't pick and choose. I'll continue to trust and serve God even when he gives an answer I don't want.

I can say I hate funerals and wakes but they do have a way of mellowing out the pain a bit. They're like band-aids.

After this double whammy I just hope my family will be spared for the rest of this year. No more deaths.
