Interesting question. I wonder if it's part of the times we live in? Gratification has to be so instant. If you look beautiful, just looking is gratifying, so the beautiful are popular. A good heart might not show it's beauty quite so quickly; and so such people might be neglected unless they have something else that is more quickly captivating. Just my thoughts.

Because people are assholes who have no taste and more often than not choose trash over quality people.

I ask myself that...It could be they have high stanards or they are too busy people pleasing they forget about themselves.
