I have a small landscaping job I need done. I've collected all the materials and have cleared the work site, but due to a bad back, I can't do the finishing of the job. 8 (EIGHT) different landscapers have told me, "It's not worth my time".
Pardon me, but this is ALL you do with your time, and when you were first starting out you'd have killed for a quick little job like this! So why does every job that they do now have to be costly enough that they can buy a new truck afterwards?
I used to help manage a landscape company, and I remember them always saying make the customer happy no matter how big or small the job was. Treat their property like you would your own.
@kahne2013 Apparently they have a a big problem here with service people just not showing up. Exterminators, landscapers, handymen. Just...don't show up.

Hate to say this but out here? Someone would have jumped on that just for the work and money!
@SW-User I would have thought that was the case here too. Not sure what I expected. When I first bought my house I called the Pittsburgh Paints store. "I need 5 gallons of paint made up!" "Oh, I can't do it today, I'm goin' fishin'." 🙄
@Synyster I normally figure a truck into every three jobs, customers want the job done, doesn't want excuses of trucks and equipment being down and many require that your equipment be pretty new
