What was the worst year/years of your life?

That would 2006 and several of the following years when I was 12 years old. My mother and I got into a terrible car accident that left me with an amputation and years of therapy and learning how to live normally with a prosthetic foot. That accident also reignited my mother's cancer, which she was in remission from, and it took her a few years later.

2010 was bad. A friend of mine had cancer, I lived alone in the dorm which was extremely lonely and depressing, I was homesick and I was taking classes I hated, and there were other family problems. Good riddance to that year.

2012/13 was one of the worst times for me as an adult. I completely fell apart in a way I never in my life had before. 1995-1998 were pretty bad, but I was a kid so most of my memories of the time are confused.

2001-the first half of 2007, 2008, 2011, and 2017.
