What are you grateful for?

@JovialPlutonian My brother lived was my first one
18 months old he was left unattended by a sitter in the bath ,he was almost scalded to death ,he lived ,scared but he lived
2 weeks after my grandma died (and her sister the same night )
A nut tried to kill me ,I was told she tied to gas my older 1/2 brother and I but an Aunt saved us ,that I don't remember but I am grateful ,had I died I would have missed so much which is the theme to this post ,the blessings I would have missed .
My First wife ,she gave me 3 killer girls ,they are my world and a son I was blessed with 10 yrs ago on the 20th of this month and his sister that will be 37 on the 29th ,the grandson that just turned 18 on the 2nd and his sister and 2 cousins ,
My second grandson born in October ,when doctors told my Daughter (the middle one to hand it up ,she had extensive female problems she would never have a child ,so she was a foster Mom for 25 children not her own ,,but now I have a Grandson he is the spitting image of her .
Finding my kids hid from me from 1983 until 1995 when I found them .
Winning custody of them in 1995 only months after finding them
The people who took up a collection for me to be reunited with them
All the killer jobs I have had that allowed me to live most of my life on my terms
Being able to walk again ,In 1990 I was flat of my back unable to walk
To many collapsed discs and bone on my spinal cord and nerve damage
But a 7 hour surgery and I could walk again ,but turns out I have a bone disease
that was not the end of my disabilities but that surgery has enabled me to walk now all these years ,I am grateful .
Even though I have endured pain ,my condition allowed me to be there for my Dad the last 3 yrs of his life ,and it was quality time .
I made peace with Mom and I was there the last 14 months of her life to see she had as good of quality of life as I could give her .She went pretty quick when she made Her mind up she was ready to go ,,I am grateful we had the time we did
My home ,I have been here 23 yrs now and the lady who helped hide my kids from me for 12 yrs ,she helped me get in here ,the home belonged to her brother in law ,My Uncle by marriage ,He was a great man ,he passed in December
The Jobs and friends I met getting established in a town I did not know anyone .
I did not move my kids ,I moved to where they were
I am grateful that my ex and I are now good friends again and her Mom says she loved me LOL that was a miracle
I was accepted in a pain management that actually cared about my pain ,,
After 20 yrs of the VA trying to say it was in my head instead of ordering a few MRI"S ,,but finally they did a full body scan ,now they know its not in my head
My grandkids ,they are such a blessing ,,from the day they they were born until the present ,,when they are now becoming adults ,and they still want your advice and you to be in their lives ,,that is something you can't buy
God sparing my son ,3 weeks after he was born and again just before he turned a year old ,both times he was at deaths door ,,but now he is about to turn 10
My Grandson and I are about to hit the road and let him experience what it is to be a country star ,,,maybe one of my granddaughters will be going with us
We play his first big party this Saturday
Doctors after looking at my MRI's asked how do I still walk ,the same way I am so blessing in so many ways
Christ saved ,Healed me of a life time of addictions ,and gave my family back to me
I am Papaw ,the head of my family and 3 son in laws that show me respect I don't deserve ,,they are more like sons ,,well except I would not be able to call them son in laws LOL and my daughters would still be looking for men like them .
I spared you all the times I beat death
All the friends I can call on to fight side by side with me any time and they have already proved it .
I will leave you with this ,,,
After 3 heart attacks I am blessed to still be here
but I am ,and I know I have a purpose
I woke up and I can still walk to the bath room ,,the rest is just gravy

Like I said I spared you all the times my life was spared in service ,those were just a few times ,but yes I have been tested in fire a few times and still here to tell about it ,I feel very blessed
But mainly by family and friends that make it all worth the struggles
