Have you ever been in an unhappy marriage?

I ended breaking off my engagement. I had been having issues with my betrothed. She didn't want me to go but I know in my heart marriage wouldnt of worked out. There's times I wonder what would of happened if I had stayed. I feel we wouldn't of lasted long. Or even worse remained locked in a cycle where we were miserable. Did you stay to long?
