Okay so what is Christmas really about to you?

I am a Christian and so yes I have celebrated the Lords birth in the past, but sometimes to me it's about the shopping sprees and getting everyone in my family what they really want and then some.....At the end of it all it boils down to spending time with my loved ones and sharing a feast together. Am I wrong in my thinking?

About the family coming together to make the food and prepare the table for the feast. And me being impatient for cake. My birthday is three days later so the cake is on my mind until then.
Tossing an effigy baby Jesus onto the hearth while sipping bloodnog. (jk) We have a feast and exchange presents.

I don't celebrate it. Its a waste of time and money to me, but I respect others enjoy it and want to celebrate it.

My family hasn't had any religion for generations but it's a time when everyone has time off work or school and can hang out together. Locally, it's also the last of the relatively mild weather before the real winter starts.

wow... the propaganda.. if folks really loved jesus they'd actually learn a few things about the poor bastard.
Its a pagan holiday that got added into the religion under a mix of lies.. 😇

another work day
I like your thinking!
I’m not a Christian anymore, although my parents still are. So I get them and the children in the family presents and also see it as spending time with loved ones.
