Do you know your life's purpose?

I truly have to wonder how that must feel?
There's nothing in me that can motivate me, no passion exists to light that flame.
All I see....is a never ending field of golden swaying wheat...a beautiful blue sky, with splashes of fluffy white clouds here and there.
I'm standing amongst this field..looking for a vision of something...even if it is in the far distance...a spec of something.
At least then, a direction, a plan and paths are created to reach your goal to get there.
Nothing...
I just walk aimlessly thru the field on auto pilot...totally empty...I can feel myself fading.
No matter what direction I take...I eventually end up back in the same place!
Standing in the middle of a golden wheat field!!

I strong sense of emptiness.

Sometimes we get stuck with things in life but life is just about keep walking the path and if you find yourself at an impasse where you have to choose something then make a choice and move ahead. Sure our decisions don't always work out in our favors but then again we gotta keep moving. Purpose of your life should be to stay happy through whatever means required, possibly without hurting others. lol...So work hard and keep trying. Sometimes situations are simply just tough to deal with.

I don't think that I have a purpose or something but for me most important thing is to take care of the people I love and help others as much as I can.

I like the way you see things.
Your words a wise...
I understand the theory of taking note of the NOW.
I manage to,here and there.
It almost feels like a shut down of sorts....@argav83

@wiltingflower One thing is really important that you, we all need something to keep our mind occupied with. Something that resonates some sort of progression. Sometimes taking a break helps. Be among those who understand you and can make you think positively. Always remember to find something to appreciate and have a smile at least once daily. Sometimes we just get into the circle of thinking negative. Try your options and find your happiness.

Never feel empty ... I try not to... Everyone has a purpose.. I am a caregiver to my wife we have been married 43 years she has had MS for 40 years ... I take care of her, keep her as happy as possible I'm her arms and legs I try to keep her comfortable.. Never to put her away in a nursing home...

I have saved a bit of history also... This 4" Alvan Clark refractor telescope was saved from Hurricane Irma... I purchased it from a friend that lives in Miami Florida, is now safe in my home.. Google Alvan Clark ... A true American Craftsman....

@masterofyou Thank you. It is a tough job being a care giver. I have the utmost respect for people in such a position. I guess love is a powerful emotion that provides strength to deal with anything life puts in our path.
Your purchase looks wonderful.

Sucks to be you I guess. That doesn't seem a life worth living. Yes I understand fully my mission in this world and my life's purpose. It feels that the universe makes total sense and that you are part of it. It's a feeling of fulfillment and acomplishment.
I'm starting to realise what it is. :) Prehaps I have more than one purpose.

My purpose was to be a mathematician, but I didn't care much for the math curriculum at college and dropped out, and after a little bit of time trying to find myself I'm now trying to become an electrician. Life can be unpredictable you just need to keep a stiff upper lip and keep trying
wiltingflower · 51-55, F
I agree.
What if you have gone on so many different paths..you have lost sight of another path?@JRVanguard
JRVanguard · 26-30, M
@wiltingflower Sometimes you just gotta jump on another path, I joined the Army when I was 17, thought that would be my life but I got separated 3 months in and had to try something else. If paths aren't fruitful it's best to lose sight of it rather than always thinking "what if?"

Close your eyes. Feel the sunshine on your face. Move your hands over the tops of wheat. Connect. Be still & listen. Wander within. Your answer does not lie in the field.
wiltingflower · 51-55, F
Why is it that I am not able to meditate?
AnimatronicLick · 46-50, M
@wiltingflower It's not easy. Some minds have been conditioned to analyze & process near constantly. Maybe yours does. Maybe it can partially account for what seems to be your restlessness. Practice. Try to be mindful of what is distracting you from your goal. Reclaim the attention you give to these things.
