Are you too dependent or too independent?

I have a funeral to go to in a couple of weeks, so I've booked the afternoon off work, but I've just realised I haven't even considered telling my wife to book time off to be there with me, because... it just doesn't occur to me. Even though I know if she had a funeral to go to, she'd tell me and I'd be there without her even asking me.

I'm too dependent, my oh too independent.
All my doctors appointments I go to alone, funerals I go to alone, I don't feel as if he's a life partner. Even if I ask him to be there, he never is :/
