Have you won any medals in the Oppression Olympics?

Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
I'm so oppressed they wouldn't let me in

I wonder if people would participate naked like the original olympics...
Nah but I have a ribbon we can share :) it's nice and shiny!

hi RileyPancake
Oppression is not a competition or a joke.
I recall telling g a Dr who was pressuring anti depressants on me that I was oppressed not depressed and he said they are the same thing. They are not.
best wishes
:)

Honestly I'm sick of people trying to have a pissing contest on who's the most oppressed. This kind of mentality leads to things like "all men are sexist", "white men are racist", or "all straight people are (insert phobic)" people need to grow out of the I'm the victim mentality.

hi Chickie
recognition of a state of oppression is the first stage of recovery from victim status. Oppression is a state of reality which can and should be challenged and ended. This is freedom psychology not static labelling. Think WW2 Nazis and enslaved peoples.
best wishes
:)
