Well I am at times in a state like you; what I did to prevent such emotions is discovering board games. They're for all ages, and in a wide variety. So get in a group of boardgamers, and I recommend Battlestar Galactica, or Twilight Imperium... look for more types over the net, for what suites you. There real fun.
