Close call

Not sure why this memory popped back into my head. Back in 2016 I went to a family reunion in Orlando. It was on June 12th. The family was all gathered at the pool most of the afternoon and evening but as it got later everyone started going to their rooms. So I went exploring around Orlando. Having recently embraced my bisexuality I googled bathhouses around the area and there were none but there was a club. That club was called Pulse. I’m not a club person and don’t like meeting people that way so I didn’t go, thankfully.
The next day we are all sitting in the hotel cafeteria eating breakfast and on the news was a shooting at that club only 2 miles from our hotel. 50 people died and 53 were injured there. It is the second largest mass shooting in the U.S. Something was looking out for me that day.
