I Love Classical Music

I listen to classical music frequently. In fact, it makes up the largest portion of my music collection. I'll listen to anything from 17th century baroque to contemporary avant-garde. Classical music is far more than just music to study to or music for stuffy octogenarians. There's a wide variety in there and proof that music doesn't need lyrics to be moving.

If you listen to classical music, who are your favorite composers? What are your favorite works?

My favorite composers are Mozart and Beethoven. Furthermore I like Brahms, Bach, Händel, Haydn, Schubert, Vivaldi, Weber, Verdi and Bruckner - and the walces by Johann Strauss.
Some of my favorite works: [

Beethoven's 5th and 6th sinfony, his violin concert and his 5th piano concert
Mozarts Don Giovanni, his 40th and 41th sinfony and the piano concert No. 20
Dvorak's cello concerto
Bizet's Carmen
Brahms' 4th sinfony
Bruckner's 9th sinfony
Weber's Freischütz
some works of Bach and Händel
the latest sinfonies by Haydn
Verdi's La traviata and his requiem
The four seasons by Vivaldi
various works by Bach and Händel
Schubert's unfinished sinfony and the sinfony in C-Major
The Blue Danube by Johann Strauss

The enumeration is not complete...

Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Hayden.. I have often been accused of going for baroque.
