I now have time for myself now but I don't seem to have the motivation to do anything. How do I be productive?

Basically, I'm home (finished my course, and post breakup mode) and I signed up for a course online and have things to do, creatively. But I have no drive to move. It's night where I am right now, and my brain is telling me to 'go to bed,' but I'm not tired. At this time, I'd be calling my childhood ex bf but now I'm on my own. I can't use my creativity, or study the thing online... I'm not being productive and I can't seem to sit still and do what I should...
You seem to be quite anxious.

Now, if you are taking any medication for anxiety, sadly that is one of the symptoms ( akathisia ).

At least, you are aware of it and can report it to your doctor, or consult with one if that´s the case.

Best wishes.
Do some plan for the next day how would you like for your day to be. Make 1-3 things to do and realize them. Deicede when you wake up and when to go to šleep in advance and stick to it. Make a routine. Plan. Focus. Stick to it. Realize your plans. Until you have a habit. I am also struggling with this plan making and realizations of plans. All the best

An all to familiar state, and I sorta still struggle with it. It royally sucks when things you need to do pile up and things you usually love feels... well, like nothingness. I do hope you find a way to push on and get the things you want and need done.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet Same, I just want it to happen now. Can't waste anymore time

@Ladyofemotions If only I had some good advice to share but, alas, the only thing I've managed in such times is to use stubbornness and sheer spite to limp on.
