Is intentionally driving ones car into a large body of water and staying inside considered s uic ide?

How about driving into a busy intersection at a high rate of speed?

Standing/ lying on the highway?

Asking for a friend

Ok you said with the intention it's suicide, but your other examples you weren't sure of.

Do you mean if someone is a daredevil, an adrenaline junkie, and does questionable things, that can get them killed?

I mean even getting inside a car and driving already has some risks.

A matter of quantity and not quality?

Sorry I have not come to bring answers, only further questions.

I'll also say your examples though might not only hurt the 1 person Doing it, but others as well, as they might cause other accidents. Not good at all.

Police investigations take into account the totality of the situation; what was happening in the life of the deceased, if a suicide note was found, if the deceased showed evidence of extreme depression or despair, witnesses of the fatal event, etc.

why do so many Americans want to die?
usa ranks 47 out of 183 countries
DestroyerOfIdeologies · 22-25, M
@Platoscave cause all the money, all the therapy, all the psychiatric drugs, is not gonna help.

@DestroyerOfIdeologies Yeah but what causes all that despair in the first place? I have my ideas but who knows really?

intentionally doing something to die is suicide
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@wackidywack what if someone just wants to get hurt. But die. Still suicide. Doesn't matter anyway. If youre dead youre dead
wackidywack · 22-25
@iamnikki still is
DestroyerOfIdeologies · 22-25, M
@iamnikki actually maybe that isn't suicide anymore, if you're defining suicide with intentionality.

depends how you define suicide. Some who are so inclusive in their definition might say stunt men or people who join the military and go to war are suicidal.

But many of the examples you gave can cause deaths to other people. People swerving their cars to avoid you in the highway. That'll will earn you a criminal conviction if you survive.

🤔 I mean, I don't know why anyone would try to break out of their car if they went under water...
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
