I focus on living in the present. If I need to look back for reference, as in to see what I have learned from whatever happened, that's different, but other than that, I try to never let yesterday steal joy from today. I set goals for myself and I make a conscious effort to be thankful for every day and what I have, and especially for my health. At my age, it's not perfect, but I'm very grateful for what I do have and that I am not on crutches or in a wheelchair. Doing nothing but sitting and thinking about one's self or problems, never settles anything nor serves any purpose. So that is why I try not to let anything distract me from a purposeful life. The best thing a person can do, is not beat themselves up for past mistakes. There's always tomorrow and a new beginning. I just try to do my best each day.

hi Carla1951
On course just fine thanks. I have a life long fascination with existence. It remains fascinating.
Best wishes

The goal I set for myself was to work until I am about 90 years old.
