It's a commitment. A pact with the one you love to be with them as partners in life. Not a legal agreement to toss away when you get bored.

So very true. But some rush into it. What happens when your spouse wants to play with others, but you are not interested - or vice versa? Neither cheating or unfulfilled spouses are a good thing.

True for most@PolyamorousPlaymates. Can be awkward when they can no longer perform/satisfy - either through age, illness or accident.
