So true. I never felt any love from my mom, my dad took off when I was very little. I've seen him a handful of times when I got older, but there was never any real love for me growing up. It was a struggle, as I would just look in all the wrong places for it. It took me a long time to get where I am now. I'm at peace, but that heartache never really goes away. I say biological because parents who can truly love do not have to be those who sire us and give birth to us.And I also had a much older brother and sister who were unloving.My family turned out to be my friends in the course of life.
