I suppose that may be true, especially for attractive young ladies. Thinking out loud, I wonder if it works better when you wait for them to “show” you that they like you.
People do change but most have a few anchors and if I am mature enough and care enough to “show” I like someone by my actions as well as my words isn’t there a better chance that change can be endured in the relationship?
