I Like To Write Poetry

We seemed to fall in love, darling, almost instantly.
Seems to me that we were definitely meant to be.
Honestly dear I loved you right from the very start.
Promise to love you forever, and l cross my heart.
Who would have thought love could be as good as this?
So very close to perfection, it is sheer and utter bliss.
I’d love to hold you in my arms, to stroke and caress
but kissing your tummy is what you love best.
I’d love to kiss you passionately, your lips slightly parted.
Yet I haven’t found what your sweet kiss tastes like
since our relationship started.
When you lay in my arms with your head on my chest,
it gives me a wonderful feeling, yeah one of the best.
All of the above my sweetheart, I swear they are true.
But none holds a candle to making sweet love to you.
To have you by my side is simply a pleasure.
Don’t need money or gold, you are my only treasure.
Easter is coming soon, there will be presents to see.
Don’t care much for gifts, having you is enough for me.
If I wake up next to you every Easter day,
I’ll definitely be happy, what more can I say?
My love for you will not die, and I promise it will never.
I won’t love you for a just while but forever and ever.
I love you and I certainly hope you will agree
holidays will be great as long as there’s you and me.
I don’t need too many friends, it may be sad but true.
The only friend I need, my darling, is simply YOU.
