What's your experience with braces?

My upper teeth are fine, but my bottom ones are a bit crooked. So I am considering getting them, any advice?

had them for a full year... u love caramel so it was a hard time.. everything gets stuck there

In my experience, quite a bit. Often, they would put in wiring incorrectly, or it wouldn't fit correctly in the brackets and I would get cuts inside my cheek that huuuuurt. But i have a nice smile now, so... that's cool.
