I should give up on everything

No. It never goes very well.
You give up on everything but life around you keeps moving along. So you end up with too many moments of 'why didn't I' ..even more often. In very personal inner voices that wont shut up.
Just keep going, moving and doing. even if you hate it. You and whoever crosses your path later will appreciate your efforts.

You dont know that....you cant see into the future. Things are always changing.nothing ever stays the same.
Not sure if that helps at all but it helps me to think of it that way.
