Well, the picture is from the 40's, so it's bit wrong to say "has gone"... Just imagine what kind of s*it they're into now! ;) To be honest though, if you're into piercings, or really bodymods in general, I'm not sure you can judge what others do with their bodies (Or aren't, but anyway, it's the old "What I do is okay, what you do isn't"). People will still judge, of course.
