Oh...here I go. I'm going to lose a potential friend before I even get the chance to know anything about the person. I'm going to make them hate me without giving them a chance to discover all the varied and fascinating reasons to hate me on their own. I suppose I will be cursed with this endearing quality until I shed this mortal coil.
