... do you think it all went wrong when they rebranded us from Personnel to Human Resources. Was this some physchological nod that's is OK to screw us over?

A resource comes with a cost attached. End of the day , they are all dispensable when cost becomes high for the business. . Sad but true , does not matter what you call them . Been in the choppin block for so many times that I lost count , it feel bad but got used to it now :(

but many resources are self renewing. e.g. wind/rivers as far as hydro electric.
