Do you refrain from posting a question or story because it might offend people?

If it's a story in the stories section, that means it's my personal experience.
Sometimes, in order to tell the whole thing you might have to be reasonably graphic to ensure you get the point across.
Reasonable decorum withstanding. It is a public site and it may well be viewed by those of a more 'sensitive disposition' or indeed by those who probably shouldn't be here anyway !
So i do tone them down.
Same with responses to questions here.
I'll debate anything with anyone, i'm not precious about anything.
And if they want more details of anything i've posted i'm more than happy to P.M them if they ask.

No. Many of the stories I posted were done so with the intent of offending people just to show how stupid they are.

No. If they get offended at something a stranger has written on the internet, that's their problem.

I always worry about offending people.

More the other way round if anything else. Refrain from posting some stuff because of being offended or too many trolls etc

Yeah, I don't want to offend anyone. Even a relatively mild story can be very offensive to some thin skinned people.

My coconut has a bit of content to it.

I work on the approach or I just don't post it.

Freedom of speech.

Not freedom to be a jerk.

I post what I want to post, not giving any thought to salty people.

Sometimes

I'm sometimes careful about how I word things (believe it or not). And some things I [i]don't[/i] post. But it seems if you discuss things that matter, there's always the risk of offending someone. 🙁
