What do you use to cure a fever blister?

Often called a cold sore. And it hurts like a MOTHER F*****
I found that 'Abreva' is best for this ailment.
One tiny drop on the sore and the pain dissipates.
Trick is, use it as soon as you feel it coming on. Warning. Don't be kissing. This malady transfers w skin contact.
ALWAYS wash hands well after applying the salve. It will be gone in less than 24 hours.

I grew up with oily skin. I don't have scars, however I hated those blackheads.
Many years older and now my skin is dry. Some Places that have me look like a scaly fish.
I couldn't afford a dermatologist. I doubted it was an allergy. And a friend told me to try coconut oil. I did, and from the start, the pain was gone. It is worse in colder months. But I am now pain free. Best to apply before bed. Likely you wont be able to use cosmetics till the oil is absorbed in your skin.
