How Old Do You Think Your Soul Is?

Also, what are some things you have learned along the way that have changed your life? Any cool insights?

Buddha says there is no such thing as a soul. We are a pinch of buddhanature smothered in karma.

That's one thing I disagree with in buddhism

@offingg: You think your personality is eternal? It's a product of your brain, and when your brain dies your personality goes with it. What goes on is the energy that is you, good or bad.

@hunkalove: I do, I think my soul is eternal. Everything is a product of my brain in a way. I just think my soul outlives my body and my organs. I don't think we were meant to only live this life

Don't get the wrong thought though

The soul does not age, only your body does. Years do not determine the wisdom or knowledge your soul inhabits... and most of my insights come from religion.

That is true, the soul is eternal. Although, I was referring to the topic of reincarnation if that is a philosophy you support. Put it this way: A soul goes through different lifetimes and tries to get back to "the source" it came from which you could call God,the Universe or whatever you call it. When I refer to Soul "Age" it is about how many lifetimes it has been through and the experience it has had in human form or other forms, what it has learned.

I do understand your point though, there are many ways to look at this.

Thanks for sharing! :)
