They're so cute, but...

This adorable little guy suddenly wigged out for no apparent reason and his claw gouged my daughter's eyeball.

Urgent care gave her antibiotics and antibiotic eyedrops.

It hurt her a lot and she went to an ophthalmologist. They gave her steroid drops to help with the pain (will her eyes get huge and grouchy?) and said it will heal.

She was told Animal Control would call to interview them. I told her if they want to interview Jimmifer, the perpetrator, to please tape his responses. You know cats have to be great at alibis.

Well damn. Although I've never had a claw gouge my eye, I know how much it hurts just getting something scratchy in our eye(s). I hope your daughter's injury heals soon.

I bet Jimmifer could pass a lie detector test with Animal Control, saying it was an "accident".
