What do you feel about the fact that even boys younger than me dared to mess with me?

I shared them and you could see that even 7th grade boys could punch me when I was in 10th and 11th grade. Rarely they used to not really be intimidated even if I tried to punch them to stop them. Why do you think they were so confident messing with me even though I was actually bigger and stronger than most of them? Was it because of my childish nature? Whats your opinion about it?
