Just saw this ...

Seriously? Expand the idea and ask for a best film because, "It's a Wonderful Life" would win hands down, and it's what, 74 years old?
The film itself is so instructive of what's lost when, a brick in a small town foundation is potentially lost, and the ensuing consequences of it are given to the viewer to consider, I don't know how this film could not be construed as the best of all time, and I'm a HUGE advocate of the fact that, there is no ultimate, or best anything. This, to me, is that one exception.
I read somewhere, that, the the innocent sexual tension in the infamous scene between Donna Reed and Jimmy Stewart on the phone together was one of the sexiest film moments of all time. We also have Jimmy Stewart at the bar in a personal moment where he experiences a near break down after the bank failure that.....for me, is one of the most powerful moments of any actor, in any scene of all time. Yet, ultimately, this film is about the very Christmas spirit, and just how important, a society and community of friends really, really is, almost without, each community member understanding just HOW important they are. This movie IS that one classic. It can't be duplicated nor reproduced. It is that one film for the ages. At least, in my opinion.
