The Latest Mask Style

That's very helpful for people who are hard of hearing and depend on lip reading. They had a real problem during the start of the pandemic when facemasks like these didn't exist.

@hunkalove same with me, all I hear is muffled sounds inside of a mask, can’t read their lips when they are covered.

I have a lot of trouble hearing. I work in a warehouse with a lot of loud machinery. Cant hear anything any one is saying so reading lips is out of the question. I just keep saying What?! What? Masks only give maybe 10% protection. Not sure they are worth the effort, people are still getting sick.

@cherokeepatti the very early tests were indeed designed to catch all viruses from the corona family as they were afraid it would mutate. But when that didn't happen, they made the tests 100% specific and even the first ones didn't detect the flu, common cold or other families.

@NerdyPotato I have heard different plus they Re scanning 30 to 60 times. If you dont find anything with in 15 scans its negative

@Confined the definition of positive and negative is indeed debatable as it's not black and white. The more cycles you need, the less contagious you are. But that the flu or any other virus gives a positive result is definitely not true.
