You are leaving the Earth at 25,020 mph, the blue sky melts away to perfect black. There’s no coming back. Where will you choose to go?

@Lapochka might get a bit toasty
Lapochka · 31-35, F
@SW-User According to Roscosmos you would be incinerated before coming within a million miles or the surface of you survive the radiation and flares on the way.

@Lapochka I'll go at night when it's dark

I am thinking Mars but would like to wait until Tesla develops a Colony there.
I'm pretty sure I'd have planned an itinerary before liftoff.
Beautifullyderanged · 36-40, F
@Lapochka you can't see it from this solar system, or even this Universe, it will take a long time to get there but I can't stay here anymore.
Lapochka · 31-35, F
@Beautifullyderanged dont forget to pack your extra underwear
Beautifullyderanged · 36-40, F
@Lapochka I think I'll have to go buy more lol

@SW-User where is home?

@Lapochka The Moon

The speed of light is over 677 MILLION mph ... so at that slow speed , I would be dead long before I got anywhere . The measure distance in space in light years.
Lapochka · 31-35, F
@TexChik I’m aware of that. I used the speed you would need to leave the earths orbit.

If you traveled at light speed in an atmosphere, you would be killed by the air you compress in front of you.

Thanks for the italics but you are dead
TexChik · F
@Lapochka you didn’t make it clear that I was still in the atmosphere, smartass
Lapochka · 31-35, F
@TexChik I did. “The blue sky turns to perfect black”

How much fuel do I have? How much water do I have? How much food do I have? Did I make sure I had no Covid-19 before I blasted out?
@Northwest dumbass think about oxygen
Northwest · M
@thebusterking
dumbass think about oxygen
People don't breathe oxygen you dumfuck. They breathe air. Air is recycled through space flight and on the space station, to clear out carbon dioxide, humidity and other contaminants. The catalyst is a silica gel, which loses its efficiency due to a number of factors, but it's still far easier to carry more silica gel than more oxygen, so it could be combined with the recycled nitrogen to create breathable air.

Not that you understand any of this, you dumbfuck. What a fucking troll.
@Northwest dumbass🤣

Within the Solar System, somewhere habitable
Lapochka · 31-35, F
@InkBot Thats limited. Titan perhaps?
InkBot · 36-40, M
@Lapochka Let's go! The worst that can happen is I die. That's not too bad.
strongbow · 46-50, M
Mars i guess
