if you’re not considerate of your friends’ religion, you’re not a true friend

a true friend would consider your beliefs and respect them🤷🏽‍♀️ you don’t have to agree but be respectful, it’s not that hard
There are so many beliefs that go way beyond religion.

I believe a healthy breakfast is the best way to start a good day.

What if they try to force their beliefs on you?
SW-User
@SW-User then they’re not your friends
@SW-User I had that few times 😒😒😒😒

I'm very lucky to have always had a friend group with people of different backgrounds. It makes learning about other people's beliefs so much easier and more interesting. Of course, trying to figure out menus for group dinners gets complicated fast with different dietary restrictions, but hey, that means finding something that everyone can eat makes it that much more special!
I really don’t care if people are considerate or respectful of my religious beliefs.
I don’t agree but I do respect.

But I have few some friends who is not going to accept the religious side and I m still friends with them...and I guess we all are different and will always have different views and especially very sensitive when it comes to religion

@Lostandfound46 you have friends who don’t respect your beliefs? oof
@SW-User not particular my belief..something like wearing headscarves on kids .. she was very against it .. 🤦‍♀️ But again it’s her opinion and I have friends who were headscarf

Considerate is the right word. You can respectfully disagree.
I dont think its possible to be respectful & disagree with something as personal as religion. Like, in the back of your mind you will always know your friend thinks youre a clown for your beliefs. Awkward.

@DarlingSelah i think it’s very possible. like i’m friends with a lot of christians, i don’t believe jesus is the son of god. i don’t believe i have to wait until marriage to have sex. that’s just two examples. i respect them believing those things but i don’t have to necessarily agree. or muslims/jews only eating halal is another good example. you don’t have to eat halal food but respect that your friend does

Even if someone’s beliefs cause others pain, no I will not respect that

@JovialPlutonian that‘s just hatred. people try to use religion to justify they’re hateful beliefs. it’s nothing new. don’t be friends w them 🤷🏽‍♀️

I take all religious followers with a grain of salt lol@SW-User
I think the burden is on more than just friends
