If the person closest to you died, how do you think you would react? And how would you go about handling it?

Who knows. Grief is a very unpredictable thing. You just gotta go through it and hope you make it out the other side.
@KuroNeko it's weird how we react to things.
I pride myself in my durability - yet have been reduced to a quivering scared person because of trauma.

Even though part of me was saying "this is stupid".... i couldn't stop the terror, the heart palpitations, the dreadful thoughts invading.

Someone here told Me that our nervous systems can get trained to fear.... Our body reacts even though our mind may not.

Now I understand this... It helps me deal with it.

I'm not surprised.... What a horror to go through!!!!😱

Shit - I can't even imagine that!!!!

So out of your Control, yet feeling so responsible despite it being beyond your power to control.

A life inside you is the most raw feeling of all!!!

I can't use bold enough letters to say that.

I remember being pregnant at a terrible time I'm my life - and although I'm pro choice.... I couldn't end it!

All logic told me too - but I couldn't!

So what you must have felt!!!?
Oh sweetheart!.... It brings tears!!... I feel for you!

So hard to deal with

So hard to let go...

One can never!... 😢

God that must have rocked your mortality to your core!!! 💜

@OogieBoogie its blur now. So much other awful stuff was going on at the time.

I know from our past conversations that we have similar past experiences. Grief can be caused by so many different things. Being abused by someone you love is definitely up there on the worst things to go through. 🤗
@KuroNeko oh sweetheart!😢

Be the person that looks after the people and things they loved. it's the healthiest way to honor someone's memory, and what they would have wanted
